Came across this little infographic (pardon the irony) and just had to share it. It’s amazing to see where in the country we have the largest (again, pardon the irony) problems with weight. It seems that the Midwest and South have been particularly impacted by the rise in cheap sweeteners and decreases in time spent exercising and being active…with Colorado being the healthiest state, what with all its hiking and organic eating, and Mississippi with its poverty rate. Clearly, people are doing things right in terms of health in some states and not so right, in others.
